Benjamin Kest, Ph.D. (University of California, Los Angeles) Labmate, 1990-1992
Currently Assoc. Prof. of Psychology, College of Staten Island, CUNY kest@postbox.csi.cuny.edu http://www.csi.cuny.edu/faculty/KEST_BENJAMIN.html
A postdoctoral fellow in John Liebeskind's lab, and still a close friend, Ben ("Fritz") and Jeff ("Hitzig") have a continuing collaboration that has so far resulted in over 20 publications. Claim to fame: once knew "Sharona" immortalized by The Knack. The Kest laboratory at CUNY is interested in genetic mechanisms underlying morphine tolerance and dependence.
