John C. Liebeskind, Ph.D. (deceased) (University of California, Los Angeles)
Graduate Advisor, 1989-1993

Jeff was John Liebeskind's second-last graduate student. A legend in the field, John C. Liebeskind remains the only pain researcher ever inducted into the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. A wonderful tribute to John Liebeskind (1935-1997), written by former graduate student Gregory Terman, can be found here.
